QUALIFIED POLICY ADVOCATE

APPROVED MANDATORY QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS

 

 

 

Qualified Policy Advocate is recognition of ability, integrity and competence of qualified commercial diplomats and is open to individuals who can satisfy council with significant career progression. Prospective candidates must be able to produce evidence of seniority, and proven significant professional and maturity of experience in commercial diplomatic field/service, or any field which involves or promotes the advancement and professional practise of responsible commercial diplomacy.

 

Professional Accreditation:

Qualified Policy Advocate

 

Responsible commercial diplomatic practise requires proven professional skills in the following:

  • cross-cultural negotiation and consensus-building
  • legislative strategy and advocacy
  • anti-corruption policy and strategy 
  • media strategy and public relations
  • arbitration and diplomatic protocol 
  • development of integrated negotiating strategies
  • investigation of issues and research into new areas of knowledge

 

Role of the Commercial Diplomatic Council

The appointment to the rank and status of Qualified Policy Advocate is by recommendation by Association of Certified Commercial Diplomats, before final approval by the Chairman of the Council.
